Colden Common Village Design Statement

Colden Common Village Design Statement

Colden Common ‘Commonview’ has produced a Village Design Statement (VDS) for Colden Common which identifies design criteria against which planning applications in the area will be assessed.

Winchester City Council adopted the Colden Common VDS as a Supplementary Planning Document to the Winchester District Local Plan Review (WDLPR 2006) on 17 December 2012 following the public consultation period held earlier in 2012. The VDS incorporates within it a statement of public consultation, which outlines how the public was involved in the consultation on this document.

The public notice on the adoption will be placed in the local Observer on the 06 March 2013. Any person aggrieved by the adoption of the Colden Common VDS may apply to the High Court for permission to apply for judicial review of the Council’s decision to adopt it. Any such application for leave must be made promptly and in any event not later than 3 months after 06 March 2013.
