Join one of Winchester’s professional guides for a 90 minute walking tour, starting at Winchester Visitor Information Centre. The history of Winchester’s toilets to celebrate UN World Toilet Day on 19th November. An unusual subject but surprisingly interesting! How did Winchester deal with its waste? From the monks and merchants of the Middle Ages to the Muckabites of the Victorian Age, see a side of Winchester that is not often explored, but fun! A donation from the ticket price will be made to the WaterHarvest charity (No. 1127564).
