Description
Join one of Winchester’s professional guides for a fun, slightly naughty, 90 minute walking tour around what you might have previously considered to be a rather nice and genteel city. Starts at Winchester Visitor Information Centre. From Henry III’s shame of the city, Queen Victoria’s refusal to set foot in it, and who was accused of ‘taking pleasures in the fires of Wantonness’?! Hear what went on at the Cathedral, College and all levels of society.
