Republic: Britain’s Revolutionary Decade 1649-1660 by Winchester-based historian Alice Hunt tells the story of England’s unique republican experiment. Alice Hunt is Professor of Early Modern Literature and History at the University of Southampton. She lives in Winchester with her husband and their three children. Join us for this launch event. Tickets for the event are free but should be booked
