Entry included with General Admission Ticket. Light of Hope’, is part of a wide-ranging engagement project which will involve thousands of young people from Hampshire’s schools and community groups creating their own miniature Light of Hope. A huge-scale sculptural artwork, the Light of Hope Star, is an illuminated five metre diameter steel piece created to unify and represent hope. This striking contemporary artwork will be suspended high above the cathedral’s nave from 1st October 2022 until 1 January 2023 and can be seen as part of the general admission ticket. It makes for the perfect photo opportunity, but also, a powerful focal point in moments of reflection. Image credit: Peter Walker Sculptor
