Enjoy a taste of the great British summer holiday with the sights and sounds of the railway in the 50s and 60s.
The three day event will see the railway celebrate the fabulous 1950’s and 1960’s with entertainment happening around Alresford and Ropley stations.
Your travel ticket gives you freedom of the line to hop on and off at any station to explore a range of vintage displays.
The 50’s & 60’s Weekend is as much about reliving this period as it is enjoying the rush of a steam engine. Whether you want to get involved and dress up in your own period costume, or simply come along and soak up the atmosphere, the 50’s & 60’s Weekend promises to be a truly unique and memorable experience.
