Description

article thumb - Sculptures by Jason DeCaires Taylor at the University of Winchester's West Downs Gallery

Sculptor Jason deCaires Taylor's large scale underwater installations can be found across the world, attached to the sea bed, slowly transforming into thriving habitats for marine life. This landlocked exhibition of maquettes and photographic prints offers a unique opportunity to see his astonishing work without having to dive under the waves. Offered as part of the University's programme of events counting down to the UN's COP26 conference, this is a thought-provoking exhibition about climate change, the fragility of our oceans and the astonishing regenerative power of nature. To find out more about our COP events, explore www.winchester.ac.uk/cop26.
