A new Lunchtime Concert Series of emerging talent will take place at the Cathedral, in the North Transept, from 1.15pm – 1.50pm. We hope for an exciting run of performances throughout the term, with a particular emphasis on providing performance opportunities for young local diploma-level musicians. These performances will feature a wide range of young musicians from Bedale’s, Peter Symonds, St Swithun’s and Winchester College.

General admission fees apply. Seats for the lunchtime recitals are limited and are allocated on a first come first serve basis.

Featuring some of Symonds’ finest instrumentalists

A varied programme, including Bach’s 3rd Brandenburg Concerto

The series is run by the Head of Piano at Winchester College, Dr Nick Salwey, who is keen to hear from any prospective performers.
