DescriptionWinchester's Sporting Memories Group restarts on Monday 5th August. The group, designed to serve older residents of the local area, is based at the Winchester Lido building off Worthy Lane. It meets weekly on Mondays from 10am to 12pm, for an hour of sports-inspired chat, quizzes and sharing of memories over a cup of tea, followed by some gentle exercise. Activities include: crazy golf, badminton, boccia, skittles, table tennis, darts and new age curling, as well as various table games. The group is run by the Hampshire Sporting Memories Network, supported by volunteers from the Winchester Sport Art and Leisure Trust and District Sports South.
By Bus:Any bus stopping at the train station, or on Andover Road (south), City Road or Worthy Lane.
By Train:The Winchester Lido building is 5 minutes walk from Winchester train station.
