Apply for the Greener Future Fund

We have launched a new Greener Future Fund, a grant that will allow a not-for-profit group or charity in the Winchester district to apply for grant funding that will address at least one of the following key themes:

  • Transport,
  • Energy,
  • Properties or
  • Behavioural changes.

The purpose of this fund is to mobilise the voluntary organisations and charities that bind our communities together, to drive the district towards our goal of carbon neutrality by 2030.

Examples of projects which would be eligible for financial support from the Council include; the delivery of electric vehicle charging points in a community space, the installation of green technologies or a project with the aim of reducing energy usage.

If your project is selected, Winchester City Council will award up to 50% of the project costs, to a maximum of £2000, towards the cost of your initiative.
