North Whiteley

The North Whiteley major development area is located to the north the existing settlement at Whiteley.

The development has been designed to fit into the existing landscape whilst providing important new homes (3,500), facilities and schools. The development is being led by a Consortium on National House-Builders in conjunction with the City and County Council and will involve substantial access and transport enhancements.

Progress on the scheme is currently dependent upon funding being released by Government for improvements to Junction 9 of the M27. An announcement on this is expected soon.
