We have a responsibility to protect trees within the Winchester District. Information below sets out conservation area issues and how to apply for and protect trees with TPOs (Tree protection orders).
- Tree Preservation Orders (TPOs) The Council protects trees by issuing Tree Preservation Orders (TPO)

- Trees in Conservation Areas Trees within conservation areas are also protected and works to trees in these areas are subject to restrictions even if the trees are not the subjects of a Tree Preservation Order
