St Giles Hill Neighbourhood Design Statement (Revised)
The St Giles Hill Residents Association has produced a revised Neighbourhood Design Statement (NDS) for the St Giles Hill area of Winchester which identifies design criteria against which planning applications in the area will be assessed.
Winchester City Council adopted the revised St Giles Hill NDS as a Supplementary Planning Document to the Winchester District Local Plan Review (WDLPR 2006) on 28 September 2011 following the public consultation period held earlier in 2011. The NDS incorporates within it a statement of public consultation, which outlines how the public was involved in the consultation on this document.
The public notice on the adoption will be placed in the local Observer on the 11 January 2012. Any person aggrieved by the adoption of the revise St Giles Hill NDS may apply to the High Court for permission to apply for judicial review of the Council's decision to adopt it. Any such application for leave must be made promptly and in any event not later than 3 months after the 11 January 2012.
You can download a copy of the adopted NDS below. You can also view a paper copy of the NDS, free of charge, at Winchester City Council Customer Service Centre (Please note that the reception is open from Monday to Thursday 8.30am - 5.00pm, Fridays 8.30am - 4.30pm). If you would like to buy a copy, you can do so from Winchester City Council Customer Service Centre.
