Small grants – cash up for grabs
Do you need money for a one-off event, new piece of equipment or community activity?
Grants of up to £500 are available from Winchester City Council. The deadline for applications is noon on 4 October 2016.
Applications could be for a health-related activity, a new or additional piece of equipment for a sports club, promotional material for an arts event or project, or a community activity.
Winchester City Council Portfolio Holder for Estates and Local Economy, Cllr Steve Miller, said: “Small grants have been a valuable source of funding for smaller organisations which have enabled a multitude of activities across the district.”
Melissa Fletcher, Funding & Development Officer, said:
The small grants are an essential source of funding for groups who just need a little bit of money for an activity or piece of equipment. We have a very healthy demand for this type of funding. We try to support as many applications as we can.
