Winchester loves tennis
People can try tennis for free at River Park Leisure Centre in Winchester on Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 May.
The ‘Great British Tennis Weekend’ features sessions to suit all ages and abilities. It runs from 1pm to 5pm and includes mini tennis, junior, adult, cardio, family time and free play.
The event is run by Winchester City Council in partnership with Places for People Leisure, Paul Osman Tennis and the Lawn Tennis Association.

From beginners to experts, the weekend will allow everyone to join in individually or as families in a free weekend of tennis, to improve their skills and have fun.

Mini tennis – 1pm to 2pm
Junior – 2pm to 3pm
Adult – 3pm to 4pm
Cardio tennis – 4pm to 5pm
Free play – 4pm to 5pm
