Have your say on the future of Hookpit Farm

The future of Hookpit Farm at Kings Worthy has been uncertain for many years.
Winchester City Council has the opportunity to bring the land into public ownership and bring clarity for the future.

Before it decides whether or not to do this, the Council wants to hear community views on the idea and on how the land might be used.

Could it be partly council housing for local people? Building housing on a small area can secure other benefits, for instance public access to open space and the opportunity to provide community facilities.

The Kings Worthy Parish Plan gives some ideas of what is needed in the area, but it is important the community has its say on what the future of this land may be.

A drop-in session will be held at the Tubbs Hall on Monday 23 February, 2.30pm-7pm. Local people are invited to come along and discuss their thoughts.
