Businesses invited to have their say on council priorities

Winchester City Council is inviting local businesses to attend a breakfast meeting on Tuesday 10 December at 8am to give them an opportunity to help shape the council’s future economic plans and priorities as well as hear about their plans for car parking across the Winchester District . The meeting will take place in the Walton Suite at Guildhall Winchester. Breakfast will be served from 7.30am and the event should end by 9.30am.
Cllr Robert Humby, Deputy Leader of Winchester City Council, said:
We value businesses opinions and ideas, and believe that they can and should have a voice in shaping Council policy and practice. Economic prosperity is one of this administration’s key priorities and we look forward to working with our partners to continue to support the business community.
Representatives from large companies such as IBM and Denplan have already confirmed their attendance, as well as small and medium sized businesses from across the entire Winchester District which also includes the smaller settlements of Alresford, Bishop’s Waltham, Denmead and Wickham.
