A feast of fashion and flavours from around the world is promised at St John’s House in The Broadway, Winchester, on Saturday 4 May (10.30am-3pm).

Join Winchester City Council and A2Dominion for ‘Spring into Action’, a day of festival fun with Oxfam charity fashion shows and free food-tasting from around the world.

Visitors to the event can also chat to housing officers for useful advice along with the chance to talk to other organisations. The event is free to enter and everyone is welcome.

Activities include: the chance to try ethnic foods of the world for free, zumba, Oxfam charity fashion shows, healthy cooking demonstrations, children’s activities and games, a free prize-draw for tenants, live African drum display, Nepalese dancers and local beer- and wine-tasting.

Advice stands include: Winchester City Council, A2Dominion, Citizen’s Advice Bureau, uSwitch, Winchester Job Club, Credit Union and Neighbourhood Watch.

Refreshments and snacks will also be available from South Central Forum.
