Press Release: 03/04/2013
Voluntary organisations in the Winchester district are being invited to ‘meet the funders’ at a special event.
On Wednesday 24 April at the Middle Brook Centre in Middle Brook Street, Winchester, not-for-profit organisations will be able to talk directly to representatives of organisations that offer funding.
The funders include Winchester City Council, which is organising the event, as well as the BIG Lottery, the South Downs National Park Authority Sustainable Communities Fund, Hampshire County Council and Hampshire and Isle of Wight Community Foundation.
The event will include half-hour workshops on different funding streams such as the BIG Lottery, Arts, Sports, Heritage Lottery, fundraising and legacies.
There will also be the chance to hear from an inspirational local organisation that was voted in The Sunday Times top 100 not-for-profit employers in 2012.
