Festive ‘Money Matters’ advice event in Winchester

Winchester residents are invited to a festive ‘Money Matters’ advice event on 24 November at the Guildhall.
Residents will be able to find out about next year’s benefit changes and get advice and information on a number of different housing issues such as moving, downsizing and buying more shares in their home. They will also have the opportunity to pick up money-saving tips from a number of organisations, including A2Dominion, Winchester Housing Services, Hampshire Credit Union, Citizens Advice Bureau and price comparison website uSwitch.

There will be plenty of festive activities on offer for the whole family, including Christmas card making, cake icing, reindeer racing and the chance to visit Santa in his grotto. Refreshments are provided and everyone who comes along will be entered into a draw to win a flat-screen television.
The free event is being organised by local housing association A2Dominion and Winchester City Council.
