Changes to bin collections over Christmas
Residents bin collections will be temporarily altered by the Bank Holidays over the Christmas period.
During the week between Christmas and New Year collections will be taken one day later than normal. Reminder bin hangers will be placed on all the bins this week with details of the changes.
This means collections due on Monday 26 December will be carried out on Tuesday 27 Dec and so on until the end of the week, where Friday’s collections will take place on Saturday 31 December.
From Monday 2 January 2012 collections will return to normal as shown on the collection calendar.
Don’t forget – residents who participate in the Garden Waste scheme can put out their Christmas tree with their green sack and it will be collected.
Make sure bins are placed at the edge of the property’s curtilage by 7am on the collection day.
