King Alf lines up some royal prizes for WINchester Week
The City Council’s tourism service is giving its Facebook followers the chance to win some great prizes during WINchester Week.WINchester week consists of seven competitions throughout this week, each themed around a different area or attraction in Winchester.
To enter, Facebook users simply need to visit www.facebook.com/KingAlfWinchester, become a ‘fan’ of King Alf, and follow his updates throughout this week.
Prizes include a once in a lifetime opportunity to fire a gun at Fort Nelson, free theatre tickets, and a luxurious overnight stay in Norton Park Hotel with supper included.

King Alf has an extraordinarily loyal following in the Twittersphere – with followers actually meeting up to create snow sculptures, and there are even reports of a cape being knitted for him! It’s hoped that this new push will encourage people to sign up to the Facebook page for a chance to win some very special prizes.”
