Spot a Spook at Winchester tourist information centre

Winchester tourist information centre is offering new children’s activities during the October half-term.

Sharp eyed young sleuths can win a small prize by taking part in a Halloween picture trail at the tourist information centre during half term week. Young visitors are invited to see how many of the spooky themed pictures hidden around the centre they can spot.

To keep youngsters occupied while adults browse for ideas for things to see and do, the popular children’s table has also been updated with special Halloween activities. Mums, dads and carers can also pick up a handy guide to half-term events in and around Winchester.

Cllr Dominic Hiscock, Winchester City Council’s Portfolio Holder for Economic Prosperity, said: “Winchester and the surrounding district always extend a warm welcome to children, especially during school holidays, when there are a host of activities at local attractions. To be sure of making the most of what’s on offer, Winchester tourist information centre should be the first port of call for visitors and residents alike.”

Winchester Tourist Information Centre is open 10am to 5pm Monday to Saturday.
