Parish Council Elections on 27th May 2010

Don’t forget to vote in the Parish Council Elections on Thursday 27th May 2010.

This year, elections are taking place for the Winchester District Parish Councils of Bishops Sutton, Curdridge, Kings Worthy, and Tichborne.

Parish and Town Councils have a range of powers and are involved in many activities, including planning, promoting tourism, licensing, community halls, representation and management of town and village centres. They can make a key contribution to the well being of their local community. Members are elected for a term of four years.

Polling stations will be open from 7am to 10pm, with the count taking place at the Guildhall in Winchester from 10pm.

The Ship Inn, Main Road, Bishops Sutton, Alresford.

CURDRIDGE
Reading Rooms, Reading Room Lane, Curdridge.

KINGS WORTHY
Jubilee Hall, London Road, Kings Worthy, Winchester.
St Mary`s Church Hall, Fraser Road, Kings Worthy, Winchester.


TICHBORNE
The Tichborne Arms, Tichborne, Alresford

The polling stations will be open from 7am until 10pm.
