Revamped website to promote local businesses
The Winchester Business Directory now has a new website to help you find the best local businesses.
The directory at www.wccbd.co.uk has been given a new look and feel, making it much more user-friendly, and offering tools to link-up with social networking sites.
Winchester City Council works with The Disc Directory to provide the Winchester Business Directory. The directory allows users to leave comments and recommendations about their favourite businesses.
The site now connects with Twitter and Facebook, and the search function has been improved to help you find the full details of the local businesses you need.
Local businesses can now link any recommendations directly to their own websites to improve their overall profile on the internet.
Cllr Dominic Hiscock, Portfolio Holder for Economic Prosperity at Winchester City Council, said: “The business directory is a vital tool to keep local people informed of the best local businesses. You can leave recommendations so that other users can find the top companies to work with and buy from. The new website makes this all even easier, so tell us which local businesses are your favourites!”
