Text Winchester Council…..
The public can now send a text to Winchester City Council to report fly tipping, abandoned vehicles and council house repairs - or just to ask someone to call them back.
"As part of our focus on improving customer service we have introduced an SMS text service," said Cllr George Hollingbery, Deputy Leader of the Council.
"The benefits speak for themselves - you can save time and money by texting your request to us anytime of the day or night. You'll receive an auto reply message and the Customer Service team will also get back to you," he added.
How do I text?
