New Alresford PAC makes its debut

Residents of New Alresford and surrounding parishes are now able to access local government services through a Public Access Computer (PAC) at the town council offices at Arlebury Park

New Alresford Town Council, Winchester City Council and Hampshire County Council are working together to help residents access services by using new technology. Trained staff will be on hand to help local people use the PAC it to fill in forms online, make online payments, and search for information.

In time this pilot project will provide outreach sessions by City and County Council officers, offering more convenient access to services to local residents.

If the scheme is successful it will be considered for other parish areas within the wide-spread Winchester district.

The public access computer in New Alresford is currently available from 11:00am to 1:00pm on weekdays and residents are welcome and encouraged to use it.
