Easter fun at Winchester Museums
Test your powers of observation with free children's activities for the Easter holidays at the City Museum in The Square, Winchester, and at the Westgate Museum at the top of the High Street.
Children - and grown-ups! - are challenged to find crazy coloured eggs hidden in the galleries at the City Museum and fluffy yellow Easter chicks perched high and low at the Westgate.
Sher Kent, Visitor Services Manger for the City Council's Museums Service, said, "These are fun things to keep the children amused over the Easter holidays and successful eagle-eyed spotters will each be rewarded with a small but tasty prize."
Admission to both museums is free. Open daily during the Easter holiday period from 19 March to 10 April 2005, Monday-Saturday: 10am-5pm, Sunday 12noon-5pm
