Voluntary and community sector grants 2005/06
Application forms are now available for Winchester City Council's Community Grant Programme. The scheme provides support to a range of community and voluntary groups, including housing organisations, and arts organisations providing services to the residents of the Winchester district.Over the last six years the Community Grant programme has awarded over £2.5m in revenue funding to a wide range of organisations and groups across the Winchester district.
There are two categories of funding:
• Capital grants for physical building improvements and equipment costs
• Revenue grants for organisational running costs
All applicants must meet the basic criteria which are based on the City Council's corporate priorities, details of which are included in the application pack.

The closing date for the receipt of applications to both programmes is Monday 15 November 2004. No applications will be accepted after this date.
