Tenants & Residents Associations

There is an active network of Tenants and Residents Associations throughout the Winchester district. These groups enable us to join forces to tackle issues and problems together by meeting regularly with our local Area Housing Managers, raising concerns in our area, and putting forward our ideas and views on housing issues.

Winchester City Council supports Tenants and Residents Associations by providing help with running costs, expenses, administration, training, transport and venues.

Existing Tenants and Residents groups have been set up in the following areas:

  • Compton Tenants Association
  • Kings Worthy Tenants Association
  • North Stanmore Tenants and Residents Association
  • Weeke Tenants and Residents Association

They meet regularly, are constituted, produce their own newsletter, have two representatives elected to join TACT, and hold elections once a year at their AGM.
