Repairs to the structure/external envelope of the property (i.e. roof; external walls; external doors; windows etc.) , together with any necessary repairs to internal communal areas of the building, should be reported to the Council in the normal way. Repairs to the inside of your leasehold property, including flood/water damage arising from other flats in the block, are your responsibility to action and manage. It is also your responsibility to contact your insurance providers for general guidance, or if you believe any damage/loss you have sustained might be covered under those policies.
