Community Grants: Community Buildings Application
Voluntary, not for profit and community-run organisations in the Winchester District can apply for a Community Project Grant towards the cost of one-off projects, specialised equipment, start ups and improvements, renovations or construction of facilities.
Parish based organisations are also required to secure financial support from their Parish Council/Meeting.
Please note that applicants must secure a minimum of 25% of the total project cost from their own resources
The application form should be completed by referring to the Councilís criteria and scoring guidance (which will be uploaded onto the web page)
Failure to provide all the necessary information and documentation will delay the consideration of the application or a rejection of the application.
Given the high level of demand for these grants, we strongly recommend that you ensure that you:
a) complete the application fully and honestly;
b) check the criteria before you complete the form, and double check after you have filled it in, to ensure that your initiative is eligible;
c) ask a friend or colleague to check what you have done before submitting.
It is extremely important that you DO NOT spend prior to formal notification of approval of the grant. Submitting an application does not guarantee that you will receive a grant from us.
Saving your form

Accessing saved forms
Go to the Form Finder and select Load Saved Form. You will be asked to enter the user name and password you entered to save the form.
