Bin Collection Enquiries

Because of the severe icy conditions and snow fall waste collections on Friday 18 January were suspended across the district.
If your bin was not collected on Friday please leave it out at your normal collection point. We will return to empty it as soon as possible. Based on current weather forecasts this should be by the end of this week (w/c 21 January).

To assist collection crews, please could we ask that you make sure that the bin is not frozen to the ground and that the bin lid is free to open.

If the period of bad weather extends into next week, please check the website for further information.

Reporting a Missed Collection

If your bin has been missed on the scheduled day of collection the report should be received by our Customer Services team before 12pm on the day following the missed collection.

Unfortunately if you report it after 12pm a collection will not be made and you will need to wait until your next scheduled collection.

Please note we only take refuse that is contained inside your refuse bin and any excess waste should be taken to your nearest Household Waste Recycling Centre. Any excess recycling can be placed alongside your bin in a clear sack or cardboard box. Biffa will return twice in any 6 month period to make collections under this policy.
