Hear my Prayer - Southern Voices

Sat 18/03/17 7:30 pm

This Spring concert celebrates music by two composers from a golden period in English musical history.
Both Christopher Tye and Henry Purcell were greatly admired during their lives, and both were associated with the Chapel Royal, the monarch’s inner circle of musicians, and would be expected to provide music for the royal court, and for great state occasions.
