Bollywood Extravaganza

Sat 01/10/16 5:30 PM - 12:00 AM

Two local charities are teaming up to bring Winchester its first Bollywood Extravaganza. Tickets are on sale now and selling fast.

Fred Dinenage, the popular TV presenter, will be master of ceremonies for the evening that has been arranged on behalf of Age UK Mid Hampshire and Cancer Research UK.

The evening will get underway with a drinks reception, followed by a Bollywood fashion show, with the opportunity to bid for the beautiful saris, and then live dhol player, table and sitar music, singing and dancing. The three course dinner comes from Sanjha, one of the south's leading Indian restaurants. For those who would like to come dressed Indian style, there will be arrangements to hire saris and sherwanis.

Tables seat up to twelve, and the ticket includes a welcome drink and an authentic Punjabi three course dinner.

Tickets are available from Specsavers at 106a High Street, Winchester (01962 844833) and Age UK Mid Hampshire in Colebrook Street, Winchester (01962 871712).
