Guys and Dolls

Wed 24/08/16 - Sat 27/08/16 7:30 pm

RicNic Hampshire returns this August with Broadway’s greatest musical comedy, Guys and Dolls!
New York’s most infamous gambler, Nathan Detroit, makes a bet with the equally notorious Sky Masterson: to woo the pious Salvation Army worker, Sarah Brown. Whilst Sky pursues Sarah, Nathan must deal with his own problems – his fourteen-year engagement to long-suffering starlet Miss Adelaide.
But love and gambling do not mix, forcing the characters to question their priorities: a journey that takes them from Broadway to Cuba and back again!  RicNic is a genuine youth theatre charity – a unique social enterprise where young people really do get to run the show. Each member of the company (aged from 16 to 21 years) spends a month proving what remarkable things they can achieve, developing leadership, teamwork and valuable professional skills at the same time.
RicNic’s recent shows at Theatre Royal Winchester have sold out so book early to avoid disappointment!
