Hampshire Open Gardens - Swanmore

Sat 30/07/16 1:00 PM - Sun 31/07/16 6:00 PM

On the edge of the Meon Valley Swanmore will once again open many of its gardens to visitors. There should be 10 gardens open each day with 14 different gardens in total, so it is worth coming both days. The gardens vary from small intimate village gardens to large country house gardens. Amongst our old favourites there are one or two that have not opened recently and all have, of course, changed as the years have passed. Furthermore we have one garden that has never before been opened to the public.

Half of the gardens are within easy walking distance of the villlage centre. All could be visited with a round trip of 5 miles starting and finishing at The Paterson Centre, where you will find Barnaby's coffe shop selling specialist teas & coffees as well as delicious homemade cakes. There will be plants for sale and a plant creche to relieve you of the need to carry your purchases around.

Tickets are available from 12:30 and the gardens are open from 1-6pm.
