Shhh! - Dance production at Theatre Royal Winchester

Libraries are usually quiet places but books fly overhead and people free-run on moving shelves when Shhh! performs at Theatre Royal Winchester.

The community comes together to try to save a library from closure and the result is an evening of magical entertainment aimed at all the family. Famous books come to life and people fall in love as the performers manipulate the set and surroundings to create an innovative and powerful piece of dance theatre.

Romance, humour and politics collide in this imaginative full length production from C-12 Dance Theatre. Known for accessible performances which don’t compromise on quality, the company blends high energy dance with theatrical narrative.

C-12 Dance Theatre was founded in 2005 by artistic director Annie-Lunnette Deakin-Foster and producer Adam Towndrow. In 2013, they received their second National Lottery Grant for the Arts Award to create Shhh!
