Tessa Coe - Life is Complicated and Complex
Mon 15/02/16 9:00 AM - Mon 28/03/16 6:00 PM
Tessa Coe trained as a scientist and has been an exhibiting artist for 15 years.
"I am drawn to life’s autonomous goings on - the complicated things that we take for granted, like a brain, the weather or an ecosystem. These complex ‘goings on’ have aspects in common in the way they behave. My images are of change, brought about by a myriad of actors. They are a glimpse of somewhere where new and vigorous events are taking place. However, change can be the next step towards a state of stability or of fragility. And that's life."
Please note: Weekend hours may be restricted due to conference or private functions taking place in the building and we advise visitors to email or phone to check before making a special trip.
