Ensuring a fair trial in the 21st century - a talk

The Enterprise Lecture Series.

Do defendants receive a fair trial?  Are witnesses and potential victims treated well
within the trial process?  Is the Criminal Justice System fit for the purpose of
determining guilt of those accused of crime?  Have recent developments in the criminal
law and procedure assisted in the aim of improving the trial process?  In this lecture
Judge Cutler, Senior Circuit Judge and Resident Judge of Salisbury and Winchester,
will discuss these questions and examine proposals being put forward to improve the
trial process
