Three one-off public screenings of new full-dome films as part of the British Association of Planetaria conference

As host of the British Association of Planetaria's 2015 conference, Winchester Science Centre is delighted to offer special one-off screenings of three new full-dome films. At the end of each screening, visitors will have the opportunity to feed back their thoughts for the purposes of evaluation.

Cosmic Adventure and Edge of Darkness (10:40am)

Cosmic Adventure is shown alongside a short version of Edge of Darkness.

These films are played back to back with no audience entry or exit in-between.

Cosmic Adventure (20mins) is a show for families and takes the audience on a roller coaster ride from the Moon through our Solar System, galaxy and out into the Universe. This unforgettable high speed adventure will immerse you in some of the most amazing sites in the Universe. Narrated by Nancy Cartwright of TV's The Simpsons, in character as a 12yr old girl.

Edge of Darkness (10 mins) features amazing scenes of places never before seen. It features a spectacular flight though the great cliffs on comet 67P, a close look at the fascinating bright "lights" on Ceres and the first ever close ups of dwarf binary planet Pluto/Charon and its moons.
