Voluntary, not for profit and community-run organisations in the Winchester District can apply for a Small Project Grant towards the cost of one-off projects, specialised equipment, start ups and improvements, renovations or construction of facilities.

Parish based organisations are also required to secure financial support from their Parish Council/Meeting.

Please note that applicants must secure a minimum of 25% of the total project cost from their own resources. It is anticipated that this will include a mix of the organisation’s own funding/resources; fundraising proceeds; other grants; a contribution from the Parish Council/Meeting or Town Forum as appropriate etc. Also, applicants must provide a statement of support for the project from their Parish Council/Meeting or Ward Member.

Project grants will only be awarded to schemes that fall into one or more of the Council's Strategy outcome areas.
