Local careers advisors group

Winchester City Council's Economy and Arts team regularly meets with careers advisors from local schools and colleges, and representatives from other organisations working with young people. The objective of the group is to develop relationships between local schools, colleges and employers, and find ways to support young people finishing compulsory education and thinking about their future.

Are you an employer?

Careers advisors are keen to improve the employability of their pupils and would like to work with local businesses who could help with practice interviews, providing work experience opportunities and mentoring students at risk of becoming NEETs (Not in Education, Employment or Training).

If you can help with any of the above, or are interested in joining or finding out more about the group, please contact Laura Morrell, Economy and Arts Apprentice, at lmorrell@winchester.gov.uk

Young People’s Jobs Bulletin
