Designation of Denmead Neighbourhood Area
Denmead Parish Council applied to Winchester City Council in 2011 to be nominated as a ‘front runner’ under the Government’s Neighbourhood Planning Front Runner Project. They were successful and the City Council formally designated the area to be covered by the Neighbourhood Plan in September, following a six week consultation period.
All documentation in relation to this and the wider neighbourhood planning process can be viewed at http://www.winchester.gov.uk/planning-policy/neighbourhood-plans/.
