The Winchester District Sport & Physical Activity Alliance (SPAA) is pleased to announce the launch of the 2016 Sports Awards.

Local clubs, organisations and residents are being asked to nominate the best of the District’s sporting achievements which will culminate in an exciting evening of awards set to take place on Thursday 9 February 2017.

The awards are now in their 9th year and nominations are being taken across sixteen categories, these can be made online with the closing date for entries on Monday 9 January 2017.

With an array of sporting success stories throughout the year we are looking forward to meeting those people who have achieved in their field or who have been recognised for going above and beyond whether individually or as part of a club or team.

We encourage people to nominate anyone who deserves some kind of sporting recognition. The best way to do this is by clicking the link to our online form HERE

All nominees must either be:

• A resident

• Attending an educational establishment

• Linked to a sports club based in the Winchester District
