Receptions
Winchester Guildhall has eight beautiful rooms, each with individual character, style and charm. All are suitable for drinks receptions, wedding breakfasts and evening parties. With such a wide variety of styles and sizes, different rooms can be used throughout the course of the day to create a truly memorable event.
A pleasant way to begin your reception is with a drink in one of our suites. You may like to provide a drink for all your guests as they arrive or have the bar open so guests can have a choice.
All guests are called through to the dining room, either by the catering manager or an event manager.
The reception (or wedding breakfast) can be as formal or informal as you decide. The choices are endless; a 3-course silver served meal, a hot or cold buffet, finger buffet or even a BBQ.
The menu's on this site are purely suggestions, and the caterers are happy to create a personalised menu to suit your taste and budget. Provision is also made for special diets and children's menus.
