Replacing a lost or stolen permit

Duplicate permits may be issued where permits have been lost, stolen or damaged. The existing permit will be made invalid upon issue of the duplicate. Any vehicle observed displaying an invalid permit may be issued with a Penalty Charge Notice.

Application for a duplicate permit must be made by form. Forms can be requested from the Parking Office in person, by telephone on 01962 848 346, by email at permits@winchester.gov.uk or downloaded here Lost Permit Application Form

The fee for duplication of any permit is £10. A stolen permit may be duplicated free of charge if a valid police crime reference number is provided at the time of request for duplication. The issue of duplicate permits are at the discretion of Winchester City Council.
