Pay and Display On-Street
On-Street Pay and Display parking spaces can be found in Winchester. All spaces will be limited to either one or two hour parking with a free* half hour stay.
*If opting for a free half hour stay, a ticket must be obtained from the ticket machine and no further stay is permitted at the parking place. Any return to the parking place is prohibited within either a two hour or four hour period following departure depending on location.
In all spaces the following applies:
- No charge for Disabled Badge Holders or limit of time on their parking stay.
- No charge on Sundays or Bank Holidays
The following locations have parking spaces available for paid parking up to one hour. Any shared use by resident or other permit holders is indicated in brackets as is the hours of operation between Monday and Saturday.
For these locations parking is limited to one hour with no return to the same parking place in a two hour period following departure.

- Hyde Street (8am-6pm)
- Market Lane (8am-6pm)
- North Walls (Shared Use - Zone N) (8am-6pm)
- St Peter Street (Shared Use - Zone M) (8am-6pm)
- Symonds Street (Shared Use - Zone S) (8am-10pm)
- The Broadway (8am-6pm)
- The Square (8am-6pm)
- Tower Street (Shared Use - Zone R) (8am-6pm)
- Upper High Street (Shared Use - Zone Q) (8am-6pm)
- Victoria Road (8am-6pm)
- Wales Street (Shared Use - Zone B) (8am-6pm)
- Water Lane (Shared Use - Zone B) (8am-6pm)
