The following car parks operate as 'Pay on Foot'
How to use the car parks
1. Press for a ticket at the entrance barrier. - The barrier will not lift if the car park is showing as full and will not until a parking space becomes available.
2. Following entry to the car park, park your vehicle wholly within a marked parking bay taking your entry ticket with you. DO NOT LEAVE YOUR TICKET IN YOUR VEHICLE.
3. When you have finished your stay, BEFORE RETURNING TO YOUR VEHICLE, make payment for your parking stay at one of the Pay Stations situated within the car park.
Insert your retained entry ticket into the orange coloured ticket slot. The Pay Station will display how much money needs to be paid for your stay and payment must then be made for your ticket to be validated for exit.
All Pay Stations will accept 10p, 20p, 50p, £1 and £2 coins and £5 and £10 notes and will give change. Some Pay Stations but not all will accept £20 notes.
A receipt may also be obtained by pressing the appropriate button on the Pay Station.
If you experience any problems with use of the Pay Station or the machine reading of the ticket there is a Help Button on the machine where contact can be made with an operator for assistance.
4. Return to your vehicle and drive with your validated ticket to the exit barrier. PLEASE NOTE THAT PAYMENT CANNOT BE MADE AT THE EXIT BARRIER
Lost Tickets
If you lose your ticket following entry, payment will be required at the maximum daily rate even if your stay is less then that charged.
A 'Lost Ticket' button can be located on the smaller Pay Stations within the car park.
