Park and Ride
Winchester Park and Ride General Information
The Winchester Park and Ride service is operated by Winchester City Council in partnership with Hampshire County Council.
The new South Winchester Park and Ride car park is now fully up and running in conjunction with the original East Winchester Park and Ride car parks: Barfield and St Catherine's. The car parks are all covered by CCTV, with both Barfield and St Catherines awarded the Park Mark Safer Parking status for security and safety.
Bus Route
The bus route runs between the East Winchester Park & Ride car parks (Barfield and St Catherines) and the South Winchester Park & Ride car park calling at stops in the City Centre, the Railway Station and along Romsey Road.
Please note: There are no Park and Ride bus services on Sundays or Bank Holidays.

Tickets
The ticket machines are Pay and Display. On payment they produce two tickets - one to display in the vehicle and the other to show to the driver of the Park and Ride bus so you and your passengers can travel for free.
Charges
The following daily tariffs will apply Monday to Saturday (no charge for parking Sundays or Bank Holidays):
- All Day - £3.00
- Arrival after 10.30am Monday to Friday - £2.50
Additional tariffs for Barfield and St Catherines Only:
- Arrival after 4.00pm - FREE (obtain tickets from machine)
- Saturdays 3 hours only - £1.50
Concessions
Disabled Parking Badge holders may park at any of the Park and Ride car parks for free, however, they must pay for their bus travel to use the bus service. Disabled Parking Badge holders who also hold a National Bus Pass may use the Park and Ride bus free of charge after 09:30 Monday to Friday and all day on Saturday.
Anyone who has the National Bus Pass and wishes to use the car park should pay the appropriate parking fee (which includes the bus ride). However, if only wishing to use the bus service while not parking, they may use their bus pass to travel on the Park and Ride buses after 09:30 Monday to Friday and all day Saturday.
Season Tickets
For regular users Season Tickets and Smart Cards are available to purchase offering a more convenient way to pay for parking and at a discounted cost.

South Winchester Park & Ride
Winchester have a new park and ride site. South Winchester Park & Ride will be accessible from Junction 11 of the M3, and will run in conjunction with the existing Park & Ride sites, St Catherine's and Barfield, located at East Winchester, off Junction 10 of the M3.
